Cold Laser Therapy helps to accelerate tissue repair and healing; increases range of motion and joint function; and reduces nerve pain and acute/chronic pain.

The Avant LZ30X Laser has over 300 different settings of red and infrared light therapy.
Avant LZ30X Laser is incredibly quiet, helping even the most anxious animal to feel at ease.
This laser is small BUT powerful, offering 1,000mW of visible red and 1,400mW of infrared wavelengths.

Cold Laser Therapy offers faster healing without pain, side effects and downtime.

Cold Laser Therapy is a great way to improve your Animal Companion’s health. According to the National Institutes of Health, Cold Laser Benefits are:

  • Significant Pain Relief: Reduces acute and chronic pain associated with musculoskeletal injuries, such as tendonitis, ligament sprains and muscle strain.
  • Reduced Inflammation and Swelling: Lowers inflammation by enhancing circulation and reducing inflammatory by products.
  • Accelerated Tissue Repair and Healing: Stimulates fibroblast activity and collagen production, which increases cell regeneration, aiding the repair of muscles, nerves, and tendons.
  • Improved Range of Motion and Joint Function: Effectively treats stiff joints, such as those affected by osteoarthritis, to improve mobility.
  • Noninvasive and No Side Effects: As a non-thermal (cold) laser, it does not damage cells or cause heat-related harm, making it a safe alternative to pharmaceutical pain management.
  • Targeted Treatment for Specific Conditions:
    • Musculoskeletal: Used for back pain, knee, hip, and ankle osteoarthritis.
    • Neurological: Aids in reducing nerve-related pain, including carpal tunnel syndrome.
    • Wound Healing: Applied to difficult-to-heal, acute, or chronic wounds.
    • Dental/Other: Used for joint stiffness and pain after dental surgery, such as molar extraction.

Avant Lz30X Laser

In a session, we will use the  Avant LZ30X Laser. It is a  a portable, FDA-cleared Class 3B cold laser. It features dual-wavelength technology (red and infrared) with high power output (up to 1,400mW), offering hundreds of protocols, including for acute, chronic, and nerve-related pain.

Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) or “cold” lasers produce a photochemical effect rather than a thermal one. They stimulate cells to increase their activity and promote healing at a cellular level without causing a noticeable increase in tissue temperature or damaging tissues. LLLT has been demonstrated to be effective in pain management, wound healing, and treating musculoskeletal conditions [4,5,6].

Red lasers (typically between 630-660 nm) are optimal forpromoting skin healing, wound repair, and reducing pain and inflammation.

Infrared lasers (ranging from 780-880 nm) penetrate deeper into tissues, making them ideal for treating muscles, joints, and nerve injuries.

Combining red and infrared lasers can provide optimum therapeutic outcomes by addressing both superficial and deep tissue conditions.

Red light therapy stimulates biological responses, promotes healing and reduces inflammation without causing cell destruction.

Cold Laser Therapy Session

I’ve found that Cold Laser Therapy has drastically helped animals with back pain, stiff joints, irritability (which often stems from pain), post surgery support, acute injuries, and end of life care. It’s so quiet that even the most skittish animal has melted and relaxed during the session.

In a session, I work on your Animal Companion for an hour. The session includes cold laser therapy as well as reiki energy work. I will give suggestions as to what your Animal Companion’s Body is communicating. This can be allergies to food, deficiency in some nutrient, a rib or back vertebrae that is out, muscles that need to be massaged more regularly, etc.

Each session has a baseline fee of $75 for an hour.  If you are within the Asheville area I can travel to your home so your Animal Companion is more comfortable.
